Alkyd
An alkyd is a polyester modified by the addition of fatty acids and other components. Alkyds are used in paints and in moulds for casting. They are the dominant resin or "binder" in most commercial "oil-based" coatings.
SHORT OIL ALKYD RES

- For nitrocellulose and general industrial, combined with melamine resin for stoving enamel.
- General purpose of Baking enamel & NC Lacquer.
MEDIUM OIL ALKYD RESINS

- For general purpose, air dry enamel, interior and exterior decorative paints.
LONG OIL ALKYD RESINS
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION :
- For general purpose, air dry enamel, interior and exterior decorative paints.
MODIFIED ALKYD RESINS
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION :
- For general purpose, air dry enamel, interior and exterior decorative paints. Industrial, machinnery, wood stains and traffic paint.
- Stoving primers and surfacers. Collapsible tube finishes. Can and cap coating. Air industrial primers.
